Bob Lazar’s words, open “The distance to the sun”, while we are moving to one of the most secret and hidden place ever, the Groom Lake, S4 zone. Nevada desert shapes an inner and far mind location for a unique deep experience, between imagery, memories, and misterious events, all around the 51 area, travelling the Extraterrestrial-375-Highway, the town of Rachel, Mount Palomar Observatory and Cielo Drive in Los Angeles, California. “The distance to the sun” is the first step of a wider film-project in progress, an alive thriller-work, that aims to develope, build and destroy its own narration during the time. An american passage by the european filmaker and videoartist Andrea Dojmi, with the music of the guitarist and field recordist “Flushing Device”. Maybe a movie about aliens abductions, youth and identity, “The distance to the sun” takes us back to a remote corner of our immagination, probably located in our lost and far memories.
